Many rhino calves begin life under unimaginable circumstances. Orphaned through poaching, they are given a second chance thanks to the extraordinary care of the dedicated keepers at the Daphne Sheldrick Trust, where they are nurtured, protected, and loved until they are ready to return to the wild.
I wanted this painting to capture that hope. The innocence. The resilience. The joy that can still exist after heartbreak.Because every endangered life is worth fighting for.
